Great CD realise at bbking!!!

Svetlana is releasing (finally!!!) on Jan 15 - at BBKings...

It's a super important show- and a culmination of the three year residency, as a band, at the Back Room Speakeasy (the CD title is Night at the Speakeasy). The venue does not have too many seats - and there will be space for dancing and for hanging out!

Vintage train and swing dancing live bands!

December 14, December 21st and December 28th, 2014
10AM - 5PM (happening every 90 minutes on the M Line)
6th Avenue between Queens Plaza & 2nd Avenue subway stations
MORE INFO HERE!

Once again this holiday season, the MTA will offer nostalgia lovers the opportunity to the ride back into the past with rides on vintage buses and subway trains. There’s no better way to get around while doing your holiday shopping! Dating back to the early part of last century, the Nostalgia Train is made up of subway cars in service along the lettered lines between the early1930s to the mid-1970s. Equipped with ceiling fans, padded seats and incandescent light bulbs, the R/1 through R/9 cars served the IND and later some BMT lines. Customers will have the opportunity to hop on board as it operates along the Sixth Avenue M Subway Line Icon Line.
“Holiday shoppers, tourists and those who just remember a bygone era will have the opportunity to experience a ride on a subway train from yesteryear, said MTA New York City President Carmen Bianco. “With a little bit of luck and good timing, riders will be able to catch a ride on this classic subway train at stations along the M Subway Line Icon line between Queens Plaza and Second Avenue.
Baby soda stars playing at 11 am to 1 pm in the platform.

@santacon is today!!!

SantaCon organizers have given us an advance look at maps which reveal where most of the shenanigans will be taking place this Saturday so, you know, fair warning. As previously reported, this year's convention kicks off in Greenpoint's McCarren Park at 10 a.m., then proceeds through Williamsburg to the Lower East Side and East Village, which will see the bulk of the 'conning, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
SantaCon ends promptly at 7 p.m., at which point all participants will quietly disperse to their homes, spending the remainder of the evening in quiet reflection.

Radegast Hall & Biergarten LLC
113 N 3rd St, Brooklyn, New York 11249

Invited by Caitlin Allen:
Oh I'm so excited! As a diehard fan of Radegast I've always wanted to sing here 1) because there's room for dancing, 2) because I admire all the great musicians I've seen play here but most of all 3) cause I can invite everyone I know and love and they can all fit! So please drag yourself away from a night at Frim Fram (it's there every week, ya'll) to bathe in the glories of German comfort, great music, and much merriment!
