Pablo Picasso’s transformative exploration of Expressionism during the last two decades of his life is the subject of a major exhibition at Pace Gallery this fall in New York. Picasso & Jacqueline: The Evolution of Style presents the artist’s devotion to Jacqueline Roque, his homage to Henri Matisse, and the inspiration he found in classical and modern painters. Presented at both Pace in Midtown (32 East 57th Street) and in Chelsea (534 West 25th Street), Picasso & Jacqueline will run from October 31, 2014 to January 10, 2015.
