Saturday in Brooklyn

From 5 pm to 11 pm free target first saturdays at the brooklyn museum celebrates the ‘crossing brooklyn: art from bushwick, bed-stuy and beyond’ exhibition with music by grammy award-winning collective snarky puppy, comedy by greg barris and janeane garofalo, a performance by chop and quench (fela!), poetry readings, djs, and more. food, beer and wine are available for purchase. free admission. >>

7pm-1am (fri-sat, ongoing): the weekly brooklyn night bazaar night market brings bands, food, drinks, vendors, light installations, mini golf, ping pong and skeeball to a 24,000 sq ft warehouse. this week’s live music comes from restorations, creepoid, the yum dee days, the burgeoning, dj jonathan toubin’s ny night train, juan waters and eztv. free admission. >>
