Brooklyn Park Blues festival
Saturday, 9/26 @ 2-8pm: The Manhattan skyline is the backdrop for our show on the Brooklyn Bridge Park Granite Terrace Stage. The Maybelles, M Shanghai String Band, Dubl Handi, The Strung Out String Band, and Jesse Lenat are set to play. [FREE]
Saturday, 9/26 @ 4pm: The Hilary Hawke old time jam session will take place at pioneer DUMBO establishment 68 Jay St Bar, followed by performances by Alex Battles, Rashad Brown, Clarence Bucaro, and Landry McMeans (Gangstagrass). [FREE]
Saturday, 9/26 and Sunday, 9/27 @ 2-9pm: Seven bands will play at the newly re-activated 7,000 square foot performance space at The Archway under the Manhattan Bridge. Performers include King Radio, The Defibulators, Eva Salina, Sarah Alden, Megan Palmer, Jefferson Hamer, The Amigos Band, Pete Lanctot and The Stray Dogs, and Will Scott. [FREE]
Sunday, 9/27 11am-3pm: Sunday Bluegrass Brunch at Superfine (now in its 14th year!) with The Demolition String Band, Willy Gantrim, The Calamity Janes, and Abby Hollander.
Sunday, 9/27 5-7pm: The Howard Brofsky Memorial Jam Session at 68 Jay St Bar hosted by The Red Birds Jazz Trio. [FREE]
