New York State Pavilion Open Gate on Opening Day

Tent of Tomorrow, the six million dollar open-air pavilion designed by architect Philip Johnson that played host to the 1964/1965 New York World’s Fair. Currently being restored by the New York State Pavilion Paint Project Crew, this structure is available for your perusing (and instagram photos) for a very short window, three hours to be exact. Members of the crew working on the project can answer questions during this time about the past, present and future of the structure. Please note, hard hats must be worn during the visit and are supplied on site.

Innovation Week is where film and tech meet at the Tribeca Film Festival. Launching anew in 2014, this weeklong program, which consists of the Future of Film Talks, the Games for Change Festival, the transmedia program Storyscapes, the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards, Tribeca Hacks and TFI Interactive Day, is geared towards coders, gamers, hackers and tech-savvy filmmakers.
